Hello from Slow Construct, we hope you’re doing well.
A lot is converging in New York this month. Climate Week is bringing questions around infrastructure, materials, mobility, and resilience into the city at the same time that new AI tools are changing how architects and designers actually work.
For Slow Construct, we’re bringing people together to test housing ideas over brunch, following new approaches to EV infrastructure, sharing ways to amplify creative work, and exploring AI tools of our own.
Read on for ways to get involved. As always, if you have ideas that may benefit this community, reply to this email and let’s have a chat.

A milestone for it’s electric & New York
Congratulations to our partner, it’s electric, selected to build out NYC’s permanent curbside EV charging network across all five boroughs. We’ve supported the team through campaigns helping people understand and engage with its approach to neighborhood charging across the US. To see this major win in our home city feels special: it’s clear that cities can make EV infrastructure more accessible, visible and beautifully integrated into everyday urban life.
